2007 Mississippi State Open

The Mississippi State Open Tournament will be held May 26-27th, 2007 in ICHF Petal, Mississippi.  Tradition continues as The Mississippi Open is usually scheduled over the Memorial Day weekend, (Saturday & Sunday).

THOSE WISHING TO STAY OVERNIGHT SHOULD CALL CAROLYN REED  601-582-7090 AND MAKE RESERVATIONS.

THERE WILL BE A STATE MEETING SATURDAY,  May 26, 2007 AT 8:30 AM TO ELECT OFFICERS AND DISCUSS PLAYING TIMES ENTRANCE FEES ETC. PLAYING WILL START SHORTLY THEREAFTER.

YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE!  PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD...  ENTHUSIASTICALLY!

Hurricane Katrina in late August 2005 caused severe destruction across the entire state of Mississippi, including Château Walker and International Checker Hall of Fame. They are busy working with insurance claims, removing trees, and have crews making repairs, so limited facilities will be available for this tournament.
